Action B3 - Replication meeting
6-7 February 2023
The replication workshop, organized by ENEA in Rome, has been an effective way to transfer gained experience in urban air pollution control with nature-based solutions but also to create a community of practices in other cities. Early and continued dialogue with stakeholders from front-runner cities is crucial to provide on-the-ground perspectives and for the implementation of recommendations.
The main objective has been to show our activities, main outputs, and to start the discussion with relevant stakeholders from follower cities (e.g., Bucharest, Zagreb, Valencia, and Vilnius) where we will perform main activities (tree detection and classification, air quality modelling, quantification of air pollution removal capacity of urban trees) in 2024. The replication activities will allow testing, demonstrating, and validating the effectiveness of the AIRFRESH approach.
