Action B1 - Field campaign to estimate the benefits
The direct contribution of both test areas in air pollution is evaluated by continuous measurements, by using AirQino sensors, located inside the vegetated area, above and below the canopy, and in an adjacent control point outside the vegetated area.
Concentration of PM2.5, PM10, NO2, CO2, O3 and total VOCs as well as air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed and direction are measured by AirQino sensors at high-precision (< 4% of accuracy). Data are continuously sent by GPRS on IRET-CNR FTP for analyses and can be visualized online in near-real time.
